Masikryong Hotel

Uri Tours trips to Wonsan include a stay at the Masikryong Hotel.  The hotel is part of the Masikryong Ski Resort complex and is absolutely a lavish experience. The twin pyramid shaped buildings that make up the hotel have a total of 123 rooms that house guests. The rooms are outfitted with western style beds and private balconies. The hotel gives the impression of homeliness, but then immediately counters that by offering plenty of luxury amenities such as a greeting bellboy. Other amenities include a cafe, bookstore, souvenir shop, karaoke rooms, a dance hall, and a room for international telecommunications. The basement features a swimming pool, a hairdresser, and a beauty parlor. The bar serves German made beers, reminding homesick tourists of a more familiar place. Revolving restaurants sit at the top of both of the buildings, giving guests a unique view of the Masik Pass and a place to wind down after a day of exploring the DPRK.

North Korea (DPRK) remains officially closed to tourism until further notice. If you’d like to be notified when this changes, please contact us or join our mailing list at the bottom of this page.
