This relaxing yellow-sand beach stretches well over 4km along the Kalma Peninsula, a stone’s throw from the airport. Having been popular as a vacation area for locals in the past, the area is undergoing a transformation into the Wonsan-Kalma Coastal Tourist Area, a construction project of massive scale with over 10 beach resorts and an assortment of leisure facilities set to open in 2020.
